My three sisters and I stayed three nights at the Angkor Palace Resort and Spa in May 2008. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were spacious and modern. The pool was wonderfully refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. We enjoyed a trip to the hotel spa on two different evenings. The masseuses there were professional and... more

We stayed at Angkor Palace for two nights in early April. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff is extremely accomodating and attentive and provide a high level of service. In fact, the general manager introduced himself upon our arrival and made sure that every detail of our stay (i.e., rides into town, airport transfer, etc.) was taken... more

I stayed in this resort for 2 nights and I indeed enjoyed my stay very much. Staff are very friendly, helpful. I am suprised once I checked-in to the resort we have a very warm welcome treated us like a king. Cambodian welcome scarf was presented by one of the pretty Cambodian staff (lady)... Visited Cambodia via tour Jan 13th to Jan 19th. The whole trip was great but being able to come home to the Angkor Palace each nite was a real treat. The hotel is easily a 4/5 star accomodation with beautiful landscaping, rooms, pool, spa and a great and attentive staff. We will be back. more

2 nights. Pleasant check in with welcome scarf and refreshments as the check in was completed resort style. comfortably sitting in the lobby. Open air lobby common throughout S.E. Asian resorts. Hardwood and small fountains. Pleasant and relaxing. Large, spacious room with balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. Pleasantly appointed. Chair with footstool. Standard sized desk with chair. 1hr free... more

We stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a tour group. We were forewarned to expect the worst, including the hotels, as Cambodia is still developing its tourist industry in Siem Reap. When we checked into the hotel, it was like a 4/5 star tropical resort, matching any resort hotel anywhere in the world. In fact, passing other... more

We first visited the Angkor Palace in December 2006, and had such a great time we returned in 2007. Now we're planning for 2008. We are two 60-something American ladies, and we had just the best time here. The staff cosseted us to death! Start with the breakfast buffet - complete American plus Asian. Fresh-cooked eggs, build-your-own noodle bowl, and... more

This hotel is not conveniently located. Also, it is hard to get a taxi or tuk tuk if you need to go somewhere. The hotel service is poor. The hotel uses this inconvenience to their advantage. The hotel will rip you off every chance it gets, especially the tour desk operator. I would not suggest using the tour desk operator... more

This resort is simply stunning. Only a couple of years old everything is shiney. The rooms are kept spotless with comfortable (but firm) beds. Ensuite bathrooms were supplied with all extras imaginable (shampoo, comb, toothbrushes, sewing kit etc etc etc !) Our rooms (117 & 119) were fantastic in being so close to the pool, main restuarant and bar. Interconnecting... more
