Bathroom is great (although there is a little lack of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom - not much though - my friend and I managed without much problem and we are nothing more than traveling companions).... more

I recently stayed at FCC Angkor and was met at the airport by friendly staff. As we were in low season the room rate was good and included breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. I have only ever written praising hotels but realise this is not fair to other travellers. This hotel was a very disappointing experience. Dark rooms with no private outside space, leaking shower, toilet not working. We asked for wake up call to visit Angkor Wat (something most people would do here) - nothing happened. Though the room was small, it was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel is a short walk to the main street of Siem Reap where there are some amazing restaurants. The hotel restaurant was very good and served Western style meals. A definite plus is the swimming pool which was footsteps away from my room. more

The whole hotel smells of beautiful fragrant lemongrass oils - a lovely touch to the rooms, with an oil burner in the bedroom, bathroom and one outside by the lanai. A small but great place to stay and unwind from the temples. Poolside rooms are the best allowing you to move from your room to poolside in a matter of seconds. Excellent food and brilliant staff. Out of all the hotels we stayed in (including Raffles Phomn Penh) this was my favourite more
