Beautiful old wood throughout hotel. Excellent location, not too far from main area. Easy to get tuk tuk. Breakfast was lavish, service excellent and the rooms remind me of what "Old Cambodia" luxury looked like. Everything worked well. The hotel bar had very reasonable prices and great ambiance. Pool is nice. Stayed 4 days. Hired Sopanha, a licensed tour guide,... More

I agree with Kathleen. The tour buses are annoying. They come in swarms and I must agree that it was not fun dealing with them. They are loud, obnoxious and rude. They overtake breakfast where you have to wait 15minutes for eggs and completely swamp the lobby where you can even sit for 5 minutes waiting for a car. On... More

This is actually an awful hotel. I was booked there for three nights while in Siem Reap visiting the temples and moved to another hotel as fast as I could. I should have known by the rows and rows of suitcases chained up near the front door, like at an airport when flights have been severely screwed up, that this... More

Made this selection after much reviewing of the large selection of hotels in this area. Beautiful lobby, absolutely spotless. The service is wonderful. Breakfast was large buffet, included in the price and had lots of choices. Great happy hour and dinner for excellent. great bang for your buck! More

As with other reviews you can not argue with the amazing grandeur of this hotel. The rooms are large clean and well maintained with small balconies to sit out on. The location is a little out of town about a $3 tuk tuk ride each way. The swimming pool and dining area was clean and very relaxing. The breakfast catered... More

Empress Angkor is a beautiful hotel, with an amazing lobby (complete with welcome drinks when you arrive), swimming pool, fitness centre, free wifi, souvenir shop, complimentary breakfast and beautiful spacious rooms. It is a little way out of Siem Reap centre, on the main road and closer to the airport and Angkor complex. The staff are professional and very well... More

The lobby is a beautiful, expansive space, which is helpful because there are often tours being met and organized so it would otherwise feel crowded. The public spaces in this hotel are generous enough to accommodate the traffic. The hidden gems here are 1) great massage facilities. Prices are about twice what you pay in town, but worth it for... Our recent stay at the Empress was good, the location of the hotel is far enough out of the city to be quiet, but close enough that a short 15 minute tuk tuk ride gets you into the centre for restaurants, sight seeing, markets, etc... The rooms are large and clean, the room we had was an adjoining rooms which... More

What a great hotel. The price is great for a double room, ours included a full buffet breakfast and airport transfers. The rooms are a great size, fully equipped, and comfortable. The rooms have balconies but we warned if you open them (lizards, flies and mosquitoes will barge in the room within 10 seconds of opening you door) The hotel... More

The hotel is on Airport road which is a bit far from downtown and Pub Street. There is nothing within walking distance. The hotel stay itself is a good value with huge rooms, but the prices within the hotel (laundry and drinks) were ridiciulous. They charged $3.5 USD for a can of Coke at the pool. The pool area is...
