My husband and I stayed at Sokha from 24-28 May 2008. It is a pretty new hotel and is very clean, spacious and big. Upon arrival at the airport, we were picked up by the hotel concierge and were immediately served cold towels and cold water in the car. Very refreshing. Check-in was done entirely by the hotel staff while... more
We stayed here for 3 nights and thought the hotel was exceptional. The room was huge along with the bathroom. It was also very clean, had character to it and had all the mod cons. Our room overlooked the enormous swimming pool so was very quiet (apart from the sound of the waterfall into the pool!). As mentioned, the swimming... more
After reading the last two reviews I felt compelled to write. This hotel is by far the best hotel we have stayed in and believe me we have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world! The staff could not do enough for us. The bedroom and bathroom were enormous with a very large circular bath. Food and... more
I stayed at this hotel with my husband and two small boys for 7 nights. We were thoroughlly disappointed with the hotel and tried to leave on the 2nd night only to be told that we would still have to pay for the 7 nights. The hotel has major problems that need to be sorted out. The standard of cleanliness... more
After reading all the excellent reviews I did have to check that it was the same hotel we stayed in on our last 2 nights in Indio china. Yes it was, and I can only say we found it to be very average. So many hotels are going up in this area and all look very much the same. We... more
Sokha Angkor hotel is simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Normally I could never afford this kind of luxury but in Cambodia even 5-star hotels are cheap. And don't belive the price estimate on tripadvisor, the real price is about a tenth of that! Check out a few hotel websites and be delighted! I have paid more... more
I was recommended by my UK-based travel agent to upgrade to the Sokha. "You won't be disappointed', he said. I remembered his words as I checked in to the Soka Hotel after a delayed flight from Bangkok and spending time in the sun and heat outdoors. My first impressions of the hotel from the outside were that it seems a... more
We are a family of four (children ages 10 and 11) also traveling with my mother-in-law. So that everyone would be comfortable and have plenty of private space, I booked one of the Sokha's two-bedroom suites for our three-night stay in Siem Reap. The hotel exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The suite was ENORMOUS and very comfortable. They... more
I took my over-60 parents to Siem Reap and booked this hotel for their convenience and for a comfortable stay. The pool was large and the salt water very relaxing and rejuvenating. The lobby was very comfy, after a hot day visiting temples. The twin room was very spacious, and we found that the staff was very friendly and warm,... more
