I booked into the Villa two weeks ago after speaking on the phone to the Australian owner. He suggested I stay in the more expensive room ($30 a night) as it was less noisy than the $20 rooms; he also told me even though there wasn't a swimming poolk that I could be easily take a Tuk Tuk to use... more

This is the first time we have responded to a customer review, as we generally prefer to let customers decide whether a comment is valid or not. As such, I don't want to comment on the issues of value for money, as this is the opinion of the reviewer. I would like to take the opportunity to address the reviewer’s...

We were picked up at the airport by two of the hotel's Tuk Tuk drivers. They immediately provided us with a free drink from a cool box and took us to the hotel. The location of the hotel may not be amazing, but there are some great friendly places next to it, such as the Sugar Palm bar and restaurant... more

"Oh, it's really purple just like on the website!", I thought, as we walked toward the hotel lobby. My friends and I have just arrived and were given a warm welcome by the staff, who also offered to pay for our tuk-tuk ride. When we got to our room, I was happy to see how clean and spacious it was.... more

LOCATION - Not close to the shops, have to hire a pedicab to places you want to visit. SERVICE & STAFF - Great and warmth service. - The gentleman who picked us up at the bus bay was polite. - Its heart-warming to know that the owners train and pass on hospitality skills to the young locals. ROOM/TOILET & CLEANLINESS... more

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a memorable 10 days at The Villa Siem Reap over Christmas and New Year. The Villa staff are very special people; always professional, happy, friendly and courteous. A kind of peacefulness emanated and when they smiled the world felt like a better place... The rooms were large, very clean, nicely decorated and orchards placed and mini... more

We had only three nights to spend in Siem Reap, so we booked the Lots of Luxury Package to simplify our travel plans. I read another reviewer's enthusiastic account of this package prior to our trip and I'm happy to say it was right on. The pick up from the airport and the sunset trip to Angkor Wat was a... more

We stayed at The Villa for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. The service was more than we expected from a guesthouse. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was great and the location was ideal. For $40 a night we were thrilled. We used one of the drivers they recommended... more

My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Villa Siem Reap and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. We were met at the airport by a tuk tuk driver who offered us a cooler full of cold drinks to enjoy during the 20 minute drive to the hotel. At reception, the staff was great, offering to set us up with... more

The Villa is a relaxed guest house. The rooms are clean and attractively furnished with a purple theme. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The drivers and tour guides included in the package were very good. Rachel from England, who has been helping out running the Villa, was a wealth of information, and a very good host. We... more
