This hotel is not very good at all. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, however we ended up checking ourselves out after 1 night (even though we had to pay the full amount). The hotel stinks of cigarette smoke as soon as you walk in as there is a little casino/bar thing off to the side of reception.... more

We had a wonderful stay and we recommend the Angkor Star Hotel because they have a very good breakfast buffet and a swimming pool on the first level but be aware of the cleanness in the room as it’s not so effective, we had bad luck with the hand / bath towels, a smelly sweaty foot print but you can... more

This is a great 3 star hotel and great value for money. The rooms are clean and come with ammenities like TV (with loads of channels), hot and cold water, aircon, hairdryer, refrigerator and a safe. Staff are friendly and best of all, it has a pool which is great after a full day at the temples. Breakfast is acceptable... more

the location of the hotel was pretty good since it was located on the main street so it was not scary to take the tuk-tuk even late at night coming from the pub steet... for 35.00USD the rooms were ok, the staff was very friendly and helpful my only complaint were the sheets on the bed they are pretty old... more

We were staying on the 5th floor, a room with a big balcony overlooking Sivatha Boulevard. Was a great room, except for the fact that the lift serves only up to 4th floor, and therer was a foul smell after the air-con was on. For a 3-star hotel standard, they give out quite good amenities. From the hotel you can... more

In Siem Reap for a few days this is a perfect base. Very reasonably priced 3* hotel by UK standards. Clean good sized rooms, hotel 10 minute walk into town centre for bars and restaurants. Buffet breakfast a bit hit and miss with things missing if you're late eating...and compared to the freshly cooked great food everywhere else in any... more

The generally friendly, helpful and English-speaking staff is the best thing of this hotel. Otherwise, Angkor Star provides basic amenities: good air-con (a must in Cambodia), comfortable-enough beds, towels and basic toiletries, although they give you very little toilet paper: we ran out of it by the morning, and we were only there after 10 pm each night...But they will... more

Location is great as the hotel is along a main road where shopping, massage parlors, restaurants and mini marts are all walking distances. It is likewise around 15 mins distance to the temples so you can always go back to this hotel and refresh for half an hour during your day tours (which i recommend specially during the hot season).... more
