This hotel offers good value for the price. Although the accommodations are basic, the hotel grounds are beautiful, the service provided is above and beyond the price you pay and the staff is courteous, polite and simply great. The location also provides for a quiet place to come back to after a long day of exploring the ruins of Angkor... more

This place was the favourite stop for our kids. The pool was fantastic. The kids (6&9) arrived covered in heat rash from being out in the countryside and spent hours in it. Then there was the pool table, 2 small puppies and the frogs and geckos that hang out in the restaurant at night. We loved being out of town.... more

We were here in August. Chose this resort after recommendations from colleagues who had just been and this forum. Stayed for three nights. On arrival were in Villas B3, B4 and B5. Got a lot of help/positive suggestions all through our stay. The rooms are very clean and functional. The bathroom is eco-friendly and uses local produce for storing water-... more

Palm Village has nice garden surroundings but it is way out of town. A lot of the tuk tuk drivers or taxi drivers had no idea where it was, which often posed problems (getting lost, trouble finding the place at night, etc). The town of Siem Reap is actually great- with restaurants, bars, and places to shop for (cheap) souvenirs,... more

The place is nice enough, however the reviews don't emphasize enough how far it is from the city. Unless you want to be isolated and do nothing, it is probably worth consdering how to get back and fro. Unless you negotiate a rate with your own driver for the entire stay, you will depend on the hotel or the lonely... more

We went to Siem Reap to visit The ol temples of Angkor and stayed at the Palm Village Resort. The ambience is great. Rooms are independent from each other, really clean and cozy. The pool is the perfect place to relax after a day of temple visiting. Breakfast is good but not abundant. I used to order both the asian... more

My husband and I stayed at the Palm Village for 3 nights in August. Palm Village is a small garden resort which is away from all of the touristy areas in Siem Reap. It is tucked away in a remote street almost 2-3 kms from the main road and not many people know of it. Also, roads here get pitch... more
