We were travelling with another couple and has just completed a Pandaw Cruise on the Mekong. Staying at the Claremont was very convenient to everything and the hotel has a very relaxed and laidback atmosphere. I would certainly recommend this hotel. stayed in the claremont for 2 nights on a short trip to siem reap, everything was first class, very friendly staff, good rooms, and nothing was too much trouble, from organising a guide and car to ankoor wat, to sorting out our bus trip to ho chi minh. Hotel run by Australain owners with local staff who are very pleasant and always happy. Rooms large and clean, airconditioned with 80 plus tele channels if you are interested. Internet in lobby. Hotel is central and within walking distance of markets both western and old markets. Pub Street not much further. Tuk Tuk's always available and cheap. more

at first i booked one of their family suite, which was huge...but unfortunately, there was a smell coming out from my daughters bedroom...in our second day of stay , i ask the receptionist to move us to another room for there was a smell, but she said its ok, she will give let the housekeeping know to get rid of... more

The hotel is in a good position in town next to the river and relatively quiet. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was large, clean and functional.
