We booked this in advance as it was "high season." Looking at how fully booked they were- we were not the only people. The staff were helpful and polite and the rooms are relatively clean. However we had one of the "quiet" rooms and I got about 30 minutes sleep the whole night- between the traffic noise and the people in the corridor. The room opens onto a corridor and the only "window" is onto this corridor, so there is no fresh air in the rooms. Note that there is Calafate I and Calafate II. We were booked into II and taken to Calafate II (without specifying which) by the shuttle bus. There seemed a lot of better places to stay and half the price. Not one to be recommended. more
