Stayed here for two nights as part of a business trip - this hotel was selected by my colleagues in Xiamen. Everything was excellent - check-in, reception, staff, room, bar, restaurant. I really liked the room which had glass walls between the bed part and the bathroom. Could not recommend it more highly. more

The Sheraton Xiamen is perhaps the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. The experience starts with an absolutely opulent lobby, and it just gets better. The front office staff are amazing, and are able to cater to Americans and other Non-Chinese speakers with ease. Very friendly staff, spacious and clean. Delightful breakfast. Exceeded my expectations. The local business I was visiting booked the hotel for me -- i was a little hesitant since it was a Sheraton -- but they certainly knew what they were doing. Highly recommended. Stayed here for 2 nights and it was probaby the best hotel I stayed at in China and a good rate. I must admit I thought the gold towers were a bit gaudy but the rooms (beds!) were fabulous with nice views. I ordered room service and it came quickly, was great and hot. Great pool/workout area. This is a first class hotel, service, food, decor, location. New, clean, superb - really really good. There are many wonderful hotels in Xiamen and this is probably the best. I recommend it highly best hotel buffet in South China!!!!! more

Xiamen's Sheraton is a gleaming gold tower lost in the mixed residential and business district at the center of the island. Spent three nights and was amazed. I travel a lot and this Sheraton is well above any other Sheraton I've stayed in...superior food, service, and rooms. Food in the Executive Lounge was outstanding. You can order Eggs Benedict made to order from the breakfast menu. Evening hors d'oeuvres were sophisticated and yummy. About eight computers for use by lounge members.... more
