The fact about the Gloria Hotel in Sanya is that you don't always get what you pay for. It is true that the hotel has been refurbished- but only half of it. This large resort is a 15 minute taxi/bus ride from the city of Sanya. The hotel provides a free shuttle at 10am daily, but you'll have to get a taxi back (unless you want to stay in the busy city for 6 hours)A taxi may cost you anything from £3-5 one way.
