You can get resort hotels..and the basic amenities anywhere! But Hilton Sanya surpassed on the strength of its service amenities and friendliness supported to a great extent by a good clean beach with great water. Excellent experience. All I could want from a beach resort. Wouldn't go to Hainan just for the beaches - but a great stopover on the way to or from other Chinese destinations. Nice Hotel. The pools were great. Beach was clean. Staffs were friendly; especially the japanese lady at the front desk who was very attentive. Yet the check in/check out experience reminded you that you are still in china. Food was more on the pricey side.
