On arrival the first contradiction hits you. On the one hand, dour black(ish) and grey painted building exteriors with grey slate tiles already discolouring, somewhat reminiscent of a prison, countered by genuinely warm and friendly staff. We were absolutely amazed. Spent four unforgettable days lounging in pools, napping in hammocks, etc. Amazingly quiet and relaxing. Seemed to be nearly as many staff as guests. Must have helped to be there mid-week during the hottest part of the year. The heat didn't matter a bit though, since we pretty much spent the whole 4 days in swimsuits.... more
