We are two well travelled and fussy people .. The Guobin is one of the best hotels in the world (we have stayed at) .. easy access to Yichang centre, friendly helpful staff, great amentities and great food .. on par with the Dong fang in Beijing and the Marriott in Meux France more
This is a really lovely hotel - the best I've ever found in China. A Chinese friend recommended it and made the booking for us - we were hot, tired and miserable after a cramped trip down the Chang Jiang when it was really too hot to enjoy anything. An oasis away from the the crowds and noise of the normal chinese big city. Nicely located in a residential area, only 4 floor high, and in the midst of a park / garden.
