At first glance it really looks like a 4 star hotel, but the rooms with the plastic wall paper tells another story Lousy breakfast or rather just boring. Good location though. Try to find another hotel

Stayed there 3 nights with family during a trip all over China. Room was pretty big as well as the bathroom. Clean and comfortable room. This hotel is only fifteen minutes by car from the railroad station and a stones throw away from the China-Singapore Industrial Park. It embraces a delicate balance of renowned traditional Suzhou architectural elements and modern living comforts. It is really a good place to live.

The hotel is very old, especially in the rooms. The beds are like wood, so not good if you have dodgy limbs. It is central to some eating places and an expensive mall which houses Cartier etc, while over the road you have the poorest housing ever! Despite my concerns form reading other reviews, I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is in a reasonable location, the public rooms are pleasant and the bedrooms good.
