I'm a frequent guest at the Sheraton, Wuxi and have been staying at the property since it originally opened. Rooms are well worn at this point and the hotel needs refurbishment. We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of a multi-city China tour. It was a good hotel that met basic American standards. Location was excellent, and very convenient if you plan to spend time in Wuxi. The rooms were clean and a decent size. I have spent months over the last two years at this hotel. The staff and owner all strived to make my stays comfortable. This hotel and it's restaurants offer excellent value for the Western traveler. The excecutive floors are 20 and 21 which offer small perks for the additional cost, for the tourist the lower floors are the better deal. more

I spent 2 nights on the 15th floor in an "Executive level" room. Room was clean neet and smelled like someone dropped one in the wastebasket. Chinese toilets are not vented like those in the states, but this hotel was the only one of the 8 we stayed in with american style toilet and bathroom, that smelled like the ones... more
