I spend a couple of weeks in Dalian for work and was told that the Furama was a good deal. We went and viewed rooms and the resturant - but overall, it was not too flash... - just finding someone to speak english proved to be a problem (7pm weeknight) I stuck with the Ramada - friedndly staff. more

We stayed for two nights at Furama in July and it was fabulous. The general manager there was very accommodating, he even offered to open the fitness center early for us. Our room was clean and spacious, staff was quite helpful, and the toilet seat was heated. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel and would definitely book here... more

Stayed at the Furama in April for a weekend. When checking in was immediately upgraded to an executive room which was extremely spacious and comfortable, all for just over a 100 US$ a night including breakfast. Location is good and only a short bus ride to downtown shopping area and bang next to Shangri La which has a better bar... more

Stayed here for three nights (mid-April '07) to attend a trade show in Dalian. The hotel is well located on a main thoroughfare in Dalian, about 20 minutes by cab from the Expo Center, site of the trade show. Have just returned from staying here in a West Wing room for just under a month. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. It had a large well appointed 5 star room that lived up to every expection set by the excellent web site. The staff were also very helpful. If I return to this city I'll definitely come back. more

An all inclusive room rate of about USD 100 courtesy of a local friend persuaded us to stay at the Furama this time; we have been visiting Dalian every other year since 1998 usually staying at the neighbouring Shangri-La but the Furama is every bit as good with much larger rooms and bathroom, and extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed in during a week-long, three-city jaunt around China!! From the whirlpool tub to the heated toilet seat, the amenities are out of this world!
