after reading the review here, i booked via www.ctrip.com, unlike other website they charge a fee but ctrip.com does not. Anyway, this hotel exceed my expectation on their service. The hotel is very nice, rooms a bit smallish. Clean modern bathrooms.Limited English of staff can be a problem. Only English Cable CNBC, BBC and CCTV9. Internet is fast and free. We booked a superior suite through www.ctrip.com where it is listed as The Samsara. and paid RMB578 for a Superior Suite including breakfast. We also needed a rollaway bed for my daughter which was RMB150 for the extra person. What you get is a newish 4 star hotel which is good value for money, in a good location with excellent... more

This used to be called the Samsara Hotel. This is an excellent hotel in Chengdu - beautiful rooms - good price for what you get. Though the rooms aren't spacious, they are more than adequate. Centrally located (can walk to some downtown areas) - taxis are plentiful. Even though there is lots of construction nearby, did not impact the stay.... more
