I stayed here last November on business. I travel to China 2-3 times per year for work and was booked into this hotel through work. We have an office in Shanghai which booked this hotel for me. I stayed at this hotel for 8 days. As a westerner, I didn't like it. I didn't come across any employees of the hotel who could speak English and the beds.... oh the beds. It's pretty standard in China that anywhere you stay the beds are relatively hard, but these were beyond hard. I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor!
The food... well, again being a westerner I did not eat any of the food at the restaurants at this hotel. They do not offer any kind of westernized food so it was really hard for me. The food served at breakfast is a typical Chinese breakfast which I didn't eat. They had orange juice, but it was served hot??? Thank goodness I discovered a Pizza Hut a couple of days into my trip.
