The rooms could do with an update. Very rough towels and VERY low quality toiletries. Very good breakfast at the roof, starts at 6am. Lovely piano bar downstairs. Good food with room service. Good weekends deals online.

There are some good reasons to stay here: it is still the best hotel in town, easy access to many places (not always walking distance, but short taxi rides), the rooms are clean, free Wi-Fi, breakfast is served in a nice open roof top by the pool. This is a dated hotel with the flavor of how luxury was yesteryear, unfortunately it is a throwback to 1980's. Rooms are clean but do not look like it because of the oppresive and elaborate decor.
