Without question this is a beautiful place to stay. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. One of the young ladies that worked there gave me a tour of the building and the grounds. I'd say Casa Castel was the best part of our trip to Cartagena, the hotel was run by the owners (Peter and Alexandra), who where extremely nice and treated us like family, we really fell like home in their Castle looking mansion, the decorations, and design of the rooms where a work of art and the place felt brand new.... more
