I had been a regular there and for a basic hotel it was good and I always felt safe. On my last stay I was surprised when my cel phone came missing. I had been there on many occassions and NEVER felt i could not leave something behind in the room.

I was believed to have been the room attendent who had suddenly taken ill the next two days so that she could not be question.

A lot of run around from management but nothing resolved and the only one to offer apologies was the night reception. more

This hotel has comfortable beds, fans, private bathrooms with hot water, cable TV all for about $13 per night for a double.

It is right in the centre of Medellin, just down from Parque Bolivar. Which means that venturing out at night can be quite an adventure! There are plenty of very dodgy characters around, but it's certainly lively!

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a popular hotel and fills up fast each day with a young crowd.

If you're a light sleeper, it might be better to go elsewhere as a nearby disco continues until very late. Also go elsewhere if you are likely to be offended by the "special channel" provided on your TV. more
