My husband and I arrived and the staff welcomed us warmly. I had called a week before and requested a room in the new tower. Tower #16. I'll try to be brief but thorough in all that you should know about the DeCameron resorts on San Andres from my perspective. Hotels: Aquarium - we stayed here and it is definitely the largest with the most variety of a la carte restaurants (4). We were on San Andres Island from Nov. 13-20, 2009 at the Aquarium resort. Please don,t go if you are expecting fancy rooms. The rooms are functional with fantastic views of the carribean sea, besides anyone that stays locked up while on vacation should re-evaluate ones self!
