Despite some of the past reviews, we didn't find the area to be a problem...many of the adjacent buildings have been leveled for development. Two of my friends and I were in Atlantic City last weekend to enjoy the casinos and nightlife. We stayed at the Best Western and I was very impressed. I laugh at reading some of the reviews for this hotel, ok yes there is a 7-11 next door, well to me that was very conveint, second there are pawn shops on every corner and even every other shop on the boardwalk! I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend. The place was ok. The location was not great at all. It says 2 blocks from ballys, trump and caesars but that is not true at all. The room was a basic room. 2 double beds, a microwave, refrigerator, and table w/ 2 chairs. The bathroom was small with no added benefits. Tried to get a casino hotel but only found 500 dollar rooms. I saw good reviews so stayed here. Tried to find something wrong but couldn't. Clean room, clean pressed sheets, clean bath.
