Pleasent surprise! I went to Atlantic City instead of Vegas to try something new ! I was scared because like a idiot I came on here and read reviews weeks before my trip. Of course we know 98% of the people do not write reviews unless they are upset. I loved Ballys! I did not like my view in my... more

Just stayed at the Bally’s Atlantic City for 5 nights in the Claridge Tower room 802 and must say I was very nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews on this site, infact I all most cancelled the room. However after checking in which was no problem and given our room we were most surprised to find... more

During the month of April, I stayed At Bally's midweek on two separate occasions at an incredible off season rate of $20.09/nite I was able to obtain (after a forum posting on Tripadvisor.) Keep in mind, this review would be probably be different if I paid full price for this room. I checked in both times on a Wednesday nite,... more

i made a reservation at bally's.i was given a room with an oceanfront room, at the claridge.maybe this was a spring special, but i expected a stay at ballys.there was an odor emanating strongly from the vacant basement, and faintly from the hallways.it was similar to something that died.it was very offensive, and irritating. i would not recommend this to anyone who... more

I was very hesitant to stay at Bally's after reading the reviews. We found a room on Wednesday night (4/29) for $20 and couldn't beat it. I knew we would be in the Claridge after reading the reviews. The room was actually really nice and looked upgraded. The bathroom was small and the walls were thin (I could hear the... more

I have read so many negative reviews about the Claridge Hotel, that I was not looking forward to my stay there. But, upon arrival I was very inpressed with the Hotel. Our room was very clean, had a great view of the ocean; the bed was very comfortable, and overall ; I couldn't have asked for more. Also, the security... more

So different from the Las vegas property. The Claridge Tower is just a dump hotel they appropriated a few years ago and have done nothing to bring to Bally standards. Housekeeping dropped the ball TWICE and nothing done to compensate the inconvenience. Check your reservations before you go and request to stay anywhere but the Claridge Tower. I stay at... more

When did "old" come to mean "awful"? As a person who has traveled a large part of this lovely planet, I have stayed in many, many hotel rooms of various pedigrees in many of the world's greatest cities. On a more related note, I visit Atlantic City once every two or three weeks, mostly staying at Harrah's properties but more... more
