I am a regular visitor to Abidjan and this is one of the better business hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and the views are fantastic of both the bay as well as the city sides. The food in the top floor restaurant was fantastic, well presented if somewhat expensive. The breakfast was attractive ans refreshing

The hotel is in a quiet location and has good security. Rooms are recently refurnished but already look tired in places due to the cheaper fittings used. However the bed is very comfortable. Just returned from a 5 day stay at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan and it was a complete pleasure. The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble and they were charming in all their interactions. The hotel recently refurbished is excellent for business travelers. Utterly aweful from check in to leaving. Room was average. No hot water when I asked I was told it happens. Full stop reminded me of old eastern block hotels of the past. The staff were from another era and despite the recent facelift it's a long way off the prices charged.

Very nice hotel. The staff were pleasant, even though service was sometimes spotty. My suite was modern with a comfortable king bed with crisp white sheets, which I appreciated in humid Abidjan. Once renovation is completed, I expect Hotel Ivoire will become an even more attractive place to stay.

Clearly the best hotel in town (Pullman is a shabby second), this beautifully decorated and designed property continues to be refurbished and upgraded (it joined the Sofitel Group on 1 January).
