if not for the awful smoke all over this hotel it would be good given its location, colonial feel and buzz. but the smoke is just so uncivilised. the reception staff are a bit patchy too. the portuguese tarts at the hotel cafe are great though - a must.

Great hotel, right in the centre of Dili. Clearly the best hotel in town! Good and affordable restaurant, very nice swimming pool. Considering the level of development of tourism infrastructures in Timor Leste, Hotel Timor evidences a very interesting cost - quality relation.

A good experience of staying at Hotel Timor, Dili, East Timor. Friendly staff and cannot miss Eliva and Elvia. Hotel's Portugese Tart is the best in town. Great breakfast and good food. Rooms are and reminder of the days gone by.

I've stayed in some seedy hotels, but Hotel Timor us up towards the top. The sheets, towels and rug are stained with unknown substances, the hallways smell like a sewer and the breakfast is consistently poor.
