My husband and I spent a week in Galapagos with the Red Mangrove team. We stayed in their hotels in Santa Cruz, Floreana and Isabela islands in the ocean view suites which we highly recommend as we think it makes a big difference. We did the Darwin's Triangle Long adventure and have nothing but compliments to the whole Red Mangrove... More

Not only does Red Mangrove provide excellent land accommodations in the Galapagos, but they lead very special tours. The Aventura lodge has beautiful and unique rooms. We stayed there twice on our tour and each room had different decor and layout. We are our meals on the patio which was populated with sea lions and iguanas. The food was just... More

Red Mangrove runs several properties on the Galopogos Islands. I stayed at three, including the Aventura Lodge. I would highly recommend this hotel. Before I gush over the Red Mangrove experience, I want to highlight an area that needs improvement. The food service at Red Mangrove Adventure Lodge was abysmal each meal we ate. Expect incorrect orders and long waits.... More

We joined the 5 days Darwin Triangle Tour (Santa Cruz, Isabella and Floreana Islands) and had a fabulous time. Overall, Red Mangrove runs a very efficient and organized operations with different tour groups rotating around the 3 lodges across 3 islands. The land transportation, luggage, snorkeling equipment, boat transfers, hotel check-ins, meals were arranged smoothly and effortlessly. We never had... More

My husband and I stayed at three Red Mangrove Lodges in January 2012 - and it was an absolutely wonderful wonderful experience! The lodges (on Isabela, Floreana and Santa Cruz Islands) were very different. At each site the staff were helpful, cheerful, and professional. Nearly all were bilingual so there were no language issues for us. The food was excellent,... More

Watching the sea lions, marine iguanas, frigate birds and pelicans makes your stay at the Red Mangrove Aventura a fun and interesting stay. The rooms are nice, although left a bit to be desired in the way of privacy. The views over the harbour were beautiful. The restaurant was good, not great. However, being seated by the water watching the... More

The on-site management and staff of the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge are terrific, and the situation is charming. We sipped wine on a veranda we shared with two snoozing sea lions (Mama and pup) an several colorful iguanas. The bayview room was clean and comfortable. Our guide, Jimmy P., stayed with us throughout our 7-day soft adventure program (three islands),... More

This is a lovely hotel set right on the bay. You can eat outside or inside. The room we had was equivalent to an upscale "Ritz-Carlton" type experience although there were not bathtubs in the room. This didn't bother us at all. More

The attention to detail the hotel staff, trip guides, dive masters put in was very intricate, making the trip very comfortable and special. Punctuality was never an issue, the guides taught me a lot about the wildlife and formation of the Galapagos which I found fascinating. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating too. Strongly recommend anyone planning to... More
