Simple but pleasant hotel in an excellent location a couple of blocks from the harbor. The room was clean and spacious, although fairly basic. There is no phone in the room (which would be useful to communicate with the front desk) and no safe. Pleasant fairly basic modern hotel in a great location just a few mins walk from the waterfront. The room was clean and the en-suite quite spacious. The air con was excellent which is a real neccesity, the breakfast was good and the staff friendly. more

We stayed at this hotel with a group of thirteen. Despite picky eaters and a lactose-intolerant person, the staff was able to accomodate our various tastes very well. The staff also took special interest in the kids we were traveling with - stopping to teach them the different ways that the napkins were folded or just giving them extra attention.... more

The staff were delightful, breakfast was yummy and everyone was helpful and smiling; they really wanted our stay to be enjoyable and it was. A/C was working, the bathroom was large, and the beds comfortable. Also, an easy walk to everything, which is only 1-2 blocks away. more

For those wishing to extend their stay in Puerto Ayora, I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly, air conditioning, great location. Only small issue is with reserving a room. They do not accept credit cards for deposits so you will have to send bank draft to bank account in Florida. more

We were at the Hotel Red Booby for a week and loved every minute we were there. It is only a few blocks from the main area of town so it is very convenient. This was a good decent hotel that was definitely better than the average hotel in the city. Location was good. Provided a very nice (though big) breakfast in the morning. Clean quite friendly. No problems whatsoever and we enjoyed our stay. We are quite seasoned travellers. more
