I have stayed at this hotel in '07 and '08 in the last week of July/beginning of August. This year I could only stay 4 nights, in Wed, out Sun. Have been coming to Desert Sand for years and always have a great time. The new renovations are great (though more furniture in the front living rooms would be nice). Rooms are clean and staff is always polite and helpful. Updates to the resturant are also great. Weekend specials are a great value. Can't wait to come back in September. more

We have been staying at the Desert Sand for many years, we knew the original owners. The hotel is now run by their children which up until this year was no problem. We have been staying at the Desert Sand Resort for years. The newly appointed suites made this season's stay even more comfortable and pleasant. we have stayed here for 8 years. the hotel has just done some renovations and the rooms are very nice. they have added a full refrigerator, microwave, stove top, sink, corian counters, cabinets and remodeled the bathroom. there are 2 flat screen tvs. they have done a superb job!! the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend the hotel. more

The Desert Sand Motel has these great "mini vacation" spring and fall fling weekends you get breakfast and late check out. Breakfast at the FUZE was excellent. I loved my stay at the Desert Sands! My mother sister-in -law, 2 children and 2 teens, all had a great 3 night stay here. Very close to all the fun things to do on 7 mile beach. I especially loved the proximity to both Wildwood and Ocean City. If only we would have had better weather. Oh ya, good... more

The hotel was old 1980's style, but clean. The bathroom was small. Molding missing from kitchen counter edge. The in-wall AC was VERY loud and prevented sound sleep.
