Since this hotel was written about in Lonely Planet 2006, it has been seriously neglected, is a major health risk, I very strongly advise no-one to stay here. The list of things wrong with this hotel is endless: dark, dingy, dirty, unhelpful, noisey, nothing works in the room, sullen staff, non-existent elevators, no towels, toilet rolls (or holders!), no drainage, filthy walls, no air-conditioning, and the final straw - a razor blade in the toilet!
I'm sorry to say we stayed in it one night, not that we slept with the noise from a nightclub across the road, numerous taxi and bus horns and general racket, guests arriving at 2.00am and re-arranging the room next to ours, with a screaming baby.... After repeated requests for breakfast in the dining room the next morning, which was unlit, there was no chef as he had 'gone out', we checked the kitchen - retched at the filth, dirty dishes, blocked sink, numerous piles of cigarette butts and ash, greasy walls & floor, etc - paid for...
