I stayed in Diana hotel for a week in Jan 2012. I had been staying in a large hotel nearby which was much more expensive and noisy. i'm so glad I moved to the Diana. “Quirky, but OK if you are unfortunate enough to have to stay in Hurghada”

I would not recommend Hurghada in general for the holiday maker (if you are a Westerner you will get a lot of hassle on the streets here and you will not find the beaches impressive), but if you want a cheap non resort hotel for a stop over this hotel is OK. we stayed here for one night en route home due to a family emergency having to cut short our holiday - we simply asked a taxi driver to take us to a hotel not too far from the airport. The hotel is very dirty, which is most unfortunate as it can be seen that this hotel has been quite nice... More
