Ok, so the Al-Karm Ecolodge isnt going to be everybody's cup of tea, if you are looking for an unforgetable experience - and plenty of desert tranquility, the Bedouin hospitality offered here is unique. We booked a trek with local guides, staying the first night at the Al-Karm Ecolodge and then walking out with camels across the desert the next morning (our guides met us at the Ecolodge).

You won't be able to find the Ecolodge without assistance - its 20kms drive on sealed roads to the Tarfa village from Katreen village (at the base of Mount Sinai) and then a further offroad drive to the Wadi. That said, its remoteness is part of the adventure!
