Last day at at the wonderful Savoy Hotel in Sharm, its been a fantastic stay, the food has been ok but we upgraded to S class so we could use all the restaurants in Soho Square and it was well worth it as the food there is great. Would like to say a massive thanks to the guys at the pool bar, Hany, Ahmed and Mohmed, they kept us well hydrated throughout our days. Also Ashraf that always had our towels sorted for the pool and always checked in with us to make sure we were ok. 5* Service to all of them.

Hotel's Favourite
I came here with my husband and 2 daughters from 30th July to 13th August. We had a lovely spacious room with a connecting door between our 2 rooms,(3104/3105) this was so handy. The beds were massive and very comfortable, rooms nicely decorated, clean bathrooms, balcony with a garden view. A fridge stocked with cans of drinks and water, a kettle and tea and coffee provided made for a nice touch too. The pools were great, 3 to choose from, very clean and the life guards on duty were very helpful in setting up sunbeds and carrying towels, bringing drinks and generally asking if we needed anything. Beach was a short walk through the garden, beautiful sand, gorgeous warm sea full of tropical fish. The piers were great for accessing the deeper water to swim/snorkel or dive from. All the food we had was delicious! Lots of choice in the buffet, we had breakfast here daily and sometimes dinner. The choice of A La carte restaurants was good, tasty food. We ate in Morgana twice and more often in Rosmarino. The staff were so lovely, friendly, kind and helpful, especially in Rosmarino and the Safari bar and pool bar. Too many names to mention, we were made to feel welcome and special and nothing was too much effort. The lovely man who cleaned our rooms was very sweet, he made pretty designs on our bed with towels twisted into a heart shape and flower petals and leaves, it looked so pretty. If you needed anymore bathroom products eg shampoo or conditioner you simply call the number and he would be there in minutes with what ever you had asked for. We used the spa facilities, had a Cleopatra treatment and full body massages, very relaxing and made our skin beautifully soft. Soho Square was easily accessed and lots to see or do there. All in all I loved my stay at the Savoy and I will return. Many thanks to all the staff, you do a wonderful job and we really appreciated that.

This is the 3rd time we have visited the Savoy Hotel. We highly recommended this hotel for many reason, firstly the hotel is first class quality and kept to a very high standard. The food and restaurants are superb too. But it’s the staff that make this place special.

Initially apprehensive as reviews not as high as hotel we stayed in last year which was excellent. However no need to be, The Savoy exceeded our expectations and I actually preferred it to last years hotel. Rooms, food and staff were all excellent and I would definitely book again. Special thanks to Romany for looking after our room, El Balky and his team at the beach and the beach bar staff and Medhat and his team for exceptional service at the speciality Seafood and Turkish Restaurant. Safari Bar was a nice evening environment to relax in and although no evening entertainment Soho Square is available should you require this. This hotel is more suited to couples looking to relax and was ideal for us.

We enjoyed our stay in room 1028, which was excellently cleaned meticulously every day by Ahmed. The towel man/lifeguard, Ashraf was also a star. The food was generally good, but we were disappointed with the lack of many prawns at the seafood night and were really pleased that we chose the Ultra Inclusive option and had free ala carte meals at the Chinese, Indian, Greek, Thai, Steakhouse and Lebanese restaurants in the adjacent shopping area of Soho Square. The facilities were good, the bar men very attentive and the staff just couldn't do enough to make the holiday perfect.

Savoy Sharm El Sheikh We have over the years been to Egypt many times staying in Marsa Alam, Hurghada, Makadi bay and now Sharm El Sheikh. This hotel and location for us has been the best so far, the hotel is clean, the staff are all friendly and willing to put themselves out for the guests, the beach reef is one of the best we have had for the easy of access and the sheer number and diversity of the reef. Savoy hotel: It was exceptionally clean and tidy throughout, the cleaner for the room (2217) Mahmoud was very good in asking every day if we needed anything else, he was always smiling and would greet you each time we saw him, morning or evening, and the room was always spotless. We have never in all the hotels we have been to, seen a Beach toilet so clean and tidy, the cleaners were exceptional in keeping this looking as it did, often the beach toilets, just because of where they are, are a little messy with wet feet full of sand continually entering them, but the one on the main beach was always completely clean, no matter when you used them. The Gardeners were always out early, tending the grounds, and making sure the paths were all clean and washed down. The reception staff were always helpful if you had to go and see them, and they greeted you with a smile and” how can we help”. Food and restaurants: The service was always outstanding, but special mentions must go to Hany (restaurant manager) who, made us feel like VIP’s, he was very good at engaging with all the clients. He has a great and hard working team and in particular we would like to mention Medhat who always had a smile and jokey banter which we really enjoyed. We visited all the restaurants in our week at the hotel, all were well presented and clean and different in design. The main negative for us was that although the food served was cooked well, the overall integrity and authenticity of the food style/menu at each restaurant could be much better. We were lucky enough (after expressing dome disappointment with the Greek meze) to try a couple of special Greek dishes made by the sous chef Motasem which were truly excellent and should be added to the menu or to be offered as a dish of the day. The same could be said at each of the restaurants. Beach bar and beach staff: We spent most of our time on the beach. What a great team work on the beach. The bar staff always pleased to serve you, smiling and happy, the guys that come to take orders from the beach always on the look out for who needs a drink, and friendly to the customers, again with a smile. The Life guards, not only look out for the people who are in the water, but I often saw them also picking up any bits of litter that had been normally taken out the bins by the birds, and putting this back in the bin, and tidy up anything that was out of place, at the end of the day they put all the beds back, and then do litter picks. So much more than just keeping an eye on people in the water. Special mention must go to (Tyson) he interacts with all the guests on the beach in a variety of different languages which was very impressive and he should be commended for that! Every day he would see us and nothing was to much to ask for, always smiling and very good at cleaning your sunglasses! Pool area and pool Bar: We only spent the last day by the pool, it was clean, this was well laid out and the staff again looked after you, I saw many of them assisting with towels and beds for the guests during the day, the guys came round regularly to ask if you needed a drink. The 2 heated pools were pleasant (we have been to some in Egypt that are not heated in the winter months, and are colder than the sea, so this was very nice to have) The pool area is busier than the beach we found, but it did not feel too crowded at all. The pool bar guys were all good and smiled, engaged with the guests as well. Guest relation: Many hotels don’t do this, but at the Savoy, we were asked and spoken to at least 3 times in person while staying, this is very good, it shows the hotel does care what the guests think and are willing to go out and ask them, face to face. We also had a couple of calls to the room from them asking if we needed anything else, it certainly made you feel like they cared about your enjoyment during your stay with them at the Savoy. In a Nut Shell: The best hotel we have stayed at in Egypt so far, the staff are a credit to the hotel, is was so clean throughout, Quick transfer from the airport. The only thing I would say, if you struggle with steps, you may find this a bit of a problem due to the layout of the hotel, it has a lot of steps if you are in one of the higher up rooms (cracking views mind you) The hotel does have a lift, in the middle of the hotel, so if you cannot use the steps then you would want a room closer to the mid point so you can access the lift without a walk, this did not bother us, but for some it may do. Other than that, a cracking good hotel, with a good snorkelling, and good staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will return again.

Another very enjoyable stay at the savoy. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The beach and coral great for snorkelling. Tirana restaurants always has a good choice so never hungry and the other on site restaurants offer a change from this so you can enjoy italian or sizzle your food on a hot rock etc The rooms are clean and if you need anything you only need to ask. Saoud in Tirana is so welcoming and very helpful and goes out of his way to make your dining experience special. The girls that greet you always have a warm smile. Chefs will make you something if it isn't available as part of the buffet such as a nice plate of veggies.
