Having read the reviews we had some reservations about the hotel, booked the hotel anyway. In this case the reviews have been pretty accurate. Good points - sea view room very nice and clean, snorkeling was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, location good if you don't want to be too close to Naama Bay and all the clubs/bars etc.... more

Staff was lovely and accommodating. Lobby and public areas were what you'd expect to be 5 star, but our room was pretty tired. When we arrived the fan didn't work, TV remote didn't work, the bathroom shower was moldy and corroded. The floor had a film of some sort on it and the mirror in the bathroom was not clean.... more

We have just returned from a week's holiday to the Hyett Regency and had a wonderful time. We had never been to Egypt before and were going on a relative's recommendation. We were not disappointed with this hotel. We were given a private taxi transfer from the airport and were royally greeted on our arrival. The check-in staff were excellent... more

We returned to the Hyatt because we loved it 2 years ago, and have experienced great service and style in many different Hyatt hotels around the world. We were allocated a lovely room with a great sea view and all the luxuries expected of a 5* hotel. We noticed straight away however that the staff were polite but not nearly... more

We cannot fault either our recent experience of the Hyatt or of True Egypt, the agent who recommended this hotel and who made our trip so memorable. Our Hyatt Club Suite was spacious with large terraces and wonderful sea and beach views. The Club area is private from the main part of this otherwise large hotel, has its own pool... more

We chose the Hyatt due to trip advisor recommendations and Im glad. Everything was how I expect a 5 star resort to be. Staff were friendly, the rooms spacious, and pools were diverse. the food (esp in the beach bar) was great. Its lovely how the diff pools are set apart as you do not feel like you are in... more

Now I am known for being extremely fussy, I'm very well travelled and have had the fortune to stay in some of the best luxury and small boutique hotels in the world. After booking The Hyatt and then reading some of the reviews, I was somewhat apprehensive about my trip - "tired shabby rooms" seemed to be a common compalint.... more

We stayed at the Hyatt for our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago, it was a lovely hotel, check in was really quick with the assistance of the Longwood rep. Our room was massive - it was the standard sea view room, the bathroom had all the usual facilities, plenty of fresh towels, TV with lots of English channels (including... more
