Just returned from the Sonesta Club and was disapointed. Hotel 2nd pool area very nice,rooms nice we were in the 800+ but the restaurant was just aweful. Food was very poor and every person we spoke to was ill. You get 1 bottle of of water per day per person which was strange but you could drink as much alchohol... more

We booked this holiday thinking the Sonesta beach club resort is one hotel, but it is actually treated as two seperate hotels located on either side of a busy road. Don't be put off by people's negative comments like the food is awful, rooms are basic etc. Some people just like a windge. There is such a wide selection on offer that your spoilt for choice on what to eat, always freshly prepared and the dishes change on a daily basis, yes the food is different to what we British... more

I will make this short and sweet! I returned yesterday (Friday 19th June 2009) from a week at Sonesta Club with my boyfriend. And my god was I glad it was a week!
