I have stayed in just about every B&B on the Jersey shore and in my opinion this is the best for the money. It's a great looking inn in a beautiful area and only one block from the beach. We had stayed here a few summers ago, and went back for a quiet winter weekend. Great to see the upgrades. Love all that is new. Quiet and relaxing - it did the trick. And that stained glass window on the stairs to our room is worth seeing. more

I don't understand what people see in this place. Yes, the location was great. After that it was all downhill. Tired and uncomfortable furnisings, unemptied ashtrays on porch, not well kept up and cleaned. I was very unimpressed with the property and will not return. more

The Avon Manor Inn was a great place for a short break. It is close to the beach and restaurants. An added plus was the passes to the Atlantic Health Club in Manasquan.
