I have been visiting Abiquiu since before the Inn was even built. I've visited several times since it has opened and everyone of those visits has been perfect!! It's nice to drive up after the Santa Fe Opera during the summer months or I recently visited during the dead of winter with Snow every where. It was incredible with the... more

I was shocked to see bad reviews of this place... we found it to be terrific! We stayed in a casita for three nights over Thanksgiving, so had a lot of privacy, and were very impressed with the Southwest decor, amount of space, and atmosphere. There was also an almost-complete kitchen, with dishes, hot plate, mini fridge, and microwave. The... more

This property is isolated from any other properties of a similar or better quality. They have you as a captive because if you do not like your quarters, you have no other place to go. We were given a handicapped room and we are not handicapped and did not request such a room. They did not say a thing about... more

The rooms seemed to have been recently redecorated and are in good condition. The food at the resturant was decent and reasonably priced. The only problem was noise. The wall air conditioner was loud and there was traffic noise from the road. There are newer casitas in back further from the road and I would recommend these to light sleepers more

The Abiquiu Inn is located in a very beautiful part of New Mexico with few other options for accomodation (or food) nearby, so I thought I would write a review, as there seem to be few recent ones on this site. I am happy to report that my friend and I enjoyed our stay -- We found the staff to... more

We arrived beat and were attracted by the $79 room rate on the sign out front. Of course that room was not available, BUT they gave us a 2 bedroom suite for the price of a double. The grounds and rooms were very nice, kind of countryish. I was disappointed about no breakfast being included, but the food at restaurant... more

On a Monday my husband and I were in Santa Fe, at the La Fonda Hotel, which is lovely and proved to be an excellent value, and we wanted to spend Wednesday night outside the city before leaving for Albuquerque and the plane home. After reading good reviews, we booked the Abiquiu Inn on the internet, opting for a king-sized... more

We just returned home to Santa Fe from an overnight stay at the Abiquiu Inn. Our room, #4, was large and well appointed with an incredibly comfortable king sized bed. For the first time in decades, I slept through the night. A gas log fireplace and the viga beams added to the charm. The rooms in this building all open... more

Just got back from a hiking/sightseeing trip with two other couples. Our last stop was Abiquiu. One of my friends found this inn on the interent. We booked rooms for two nights and were all very pleased. The rooms were a decent size and ours opened into a lovely little courtyard. Also - the food at the restaurant at the... more

We stayed in Casita #17 and found it to be just perfect. The Viga beam ceilings throughout give it a very cozy , home like atmosphere. The place had a seperate bedroom with a great King pillowtop. Bathroom was large and clean. The living room area featured a wood burning fireplace for those cool evenings, and the saltillo tile flooring... more
