This is a average hotel with no view from room. Do not get fooled by the photographs. Location is somewhat good, with market being around 2-3 Km away. Do not depend on Hotel staffs for booking any tour - they tend to cheat or misinform you.

Excellent hotel with proximity to both harbor and airport (both are within 3/4 km). Rooms are well cleaned and good. Only thing missing is sea view. Restaurant is excellent with many food options. and punctual, if ordered earlier.

The booking was done via makemytrip.com (full money upfront). They could not avail the room in spite of the reservation made before hand. I was put up in another hotel (a km away). It was definitely not up to the mark. Left with a feeling of being cheated.

It was a pleasant stay at portblair. Room service and also the food quality was good. Hotel room was clean provided with good facility. yes there was electricity cut several times in night but we could not feel the problem because of generator facility available.
