When I got in middle of the night (had late flight from Hongkong), I had the impression of an old-new hotel. Next day with day light, I got a better impression. Location is good and the hotel is quiet with lots of trees around. I stayed in the club suite, the room is big but décor and furniture are rather old. I have visited this hotel twice already an can recommend it for its location, service and first of all for the possibility of relaxing after hours spent in all traffic jams while cirlulating in Bangalore. Good for Europeans in terms of cleanliness, safety of food (no diarrhea just after). Only inconvenience is the price from Oct-March. more
Le Meridien in Bangalore offers good service for a price, however, the place is showing it's age. The lobby needs to be spruced up and lit up better and the grounds could also use a facelift. the staff is efficient and friendly and the food is very good, especially the outdoor barbeque restaurant. more
Yes it's a little dated, but much more personality than a Taj or something sterile of that ilk...the club rooms are comfortable, well equipped - mine came with a balcony which is a nice feature...the pool is newly renovated and a decent lap pool - 22 M, as a triathlete - appreciate that while travelling, the gym is also modern... more
