We went to mangalore for our anniversary. This was definitely the best hotel there and we got a great rate. The room was clean. The restaurant was OK but since Mangalore had plenty of dining options, that didnt matter much. Would definitely stay there again if I am in Mangalore. more

We drove from Bangalore to Mangalore. Bad drive through beautiful country. We needed to rest our tired bones. We stayed at the Gateway hotel ( also known locally as Taj Manjuran). A nice hotel, not very big, good service, clean rooms ( we stayed in the superior type), good breakfast, good location, good and efficient frontdesk. Overall a good experience. more

Taj Manjarun (now called Gateway Manjarun) is one of the best places you can stay in Mangalore. It offer a good 3 Star+ accommodation at unbelievably low tariffs. The restaurants a good and would recommend the Kori Roti. more

Yes its situated by the sea, but the first thing that hits you when you step out of the car is the fishy odour. Not the ideal location even if you are by the sea. The hospitality is good and you wont have to wait much for anything but the location and the architecture is nothing much to talk about.... more

Went for a Business Meeting in March 2009. Excellent welcome by them along with the excellent welcoming drink being offered at the reception itself will make you feel good.
