I also had not intended to stay here as first choice but Fort Kochi can book up as it is very touristy. I stayed in this homestay for 1 night in december 2011 and I think it's overpriced. I've payed 800 including breakfast but I found much nicer places for 700 INR including breakfast and dinner. The madam started to talk about her cooking class and the drawings of her daughter (that she sells) just a few minutes after I arrived....
