Leelu is very knowledgable about her passion - cooking! We did not stay at her homestay but took her cooking course. We were not disappointed - she clearly knows her subject. The food was excellant, the instructions very clear. She is generous in her instructions so do not miss!

Leelu's is centrally located in Cochin and had everything we needed. There were a ton of flies in the bathroom/shower, but other than that, I don't have any complaints. The staff was helpful and their giant dog is fun to hang out with. Also, though a Keralan breakfast was advertised, all we had available were toast and scrambled eggs.

Fort Kochi can be busy - so it was so nice to be in a quiet leafy street, but close to busy Princess Street. This is a beautiful house, larger than it looks from outside, plenty of space - and great hosts, Roy and Leelu are very welcoming.Lovely big family dog [and i think cats, although i didn't see them].... We didnt stay with Leelu but attended her cookery class which was great value and most informative.. We then ate the food we had prepared, feel really equipped to cook some dishes now we are home - grated fresh coconut in the UK will be a problem!

We stayed with Leelu and Roy in mid February and had a great time. The homestay is perfectly located in a quiet street in the centre of Fort Cochin. It is very clean, nicley decorated and the owners are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The cooking lessons are a great extra service!

Leelu's is a lovely little homestay on a quiet street tucked between the shops and the waterfront. There are plenty of places to see and visit only 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The rooms are spacious and there are common areas on each floor, should you need a rest from the heat. There is TV and fridge too. Leelu's... More

Every place in Kochi is now calling themselves a homestay, but here it really felt like we were staying at someone's home, which was wonderful. The family who run the place are super nice and helpful. We were travelling with a small child and they took really good care of him. Highly recommended, good value for mo

I've attended cookery classes in both Sri Lanka and Thailand and had fantastic experiences on both occasions with delicious ingredients and the opportunity to cook everything yourself. This 'Cook and Eat' course was extremely disappointing and I left feeling cheated. To increase profit margins, Leelu had selected the cheapest of ingredients so although we were promised fish and a selection... More

this is a good place to stay in a quiet street of fort cochin, hosts are very helpful in answering all possible questions and arranging various activities for a good price. The breakfast is not spectacular but overall recommend the place.
