We only stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It was very nice and central to old Kochi. The pool was good and the bedroom was very nice. Only complaint was that the fridge did not cool anything very well and when we asked for another one, the staff probably did not understand what we wanted, so we basically got ignored.... More

We did not stay at the Poovath, but we did spend lots of time on the veranda overlooking the Arabian Sea, drinking cups of great cappuccino while birdwatching - it's a birders paradise Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, hawks... All the common areas were bright and well kept. Looks like a nice place to stay.

Well positioned for a walk to Chinese fishing nets as well as eating places. Hotel is fine. Rooms clean and functional but basic, battled with shower and hot water. View is good over the sea.
