This hotel is recommended in a very popular guide book as : "Big, quiet and clean rooms". When we arrived late in the evening, there was rather a lot of noise in this hotel. When we visited a room it was small to medium in size but also dirty. The walls were very dirty like if there had been painted and cleaned 50 years ago and there were lot of insects walking on it. The furniture was old, ugly and not sure the beds were clean. I can not tell you about the bathroom because we decided to quit this filthy place before we event have time to check it. I know hotels in India are not the same as in Europe or North America. But we slept in 11 different hotels during our trip around India (all of them were low to medium price hotels) and this was the worst room I had seen in all my life ! Unless you are really looking for cheap room, don't go there ! Rather choose an hotel on Manjalikulam Rd.
