Hospitality is up to the mark though it is an government hotel.Cleanliness is good.Food is average .The western temple is hardly 1 KM from the Hotel property.The hotel provides decent Swimming pool facility also I was informed by the hotel staff that they are shortly introducing indoor sports facility.

Hotel Payal is a very good place to stay in Khajuraho and is great value for money. Rooms are decent, has a sprawling lawn and is within walking distance (10 - 12 mins) from the western group of temples. Added attraction is the swimming pool which even has a Jacuzzi.
