This is a good hotel, correct and with spacious rooms. Is not a new hotel, needs a new relooking but is comfortable, well located and perfect for one night in the area. It belongs to Taj hotels chain but, in my opinion, is not as good as the rest of the Taj hotels, it seems lower to me.

This hotel is run by the Taj Group. Nice place. Built many years ago. The lobby is nice and the check in was efficient (good welcome drink). The room was nice and clean. Good bed, shower, air conditioning, etc. There is a nice big pool outside. The folks are very friendly. Always smiling and always ready to help. The breakfast... More

Loved the experience at this hotel. We visited khajuraho in April end and needless to say that it was too hot. While we could not make the most of site seeing in the scorching heat, the hotel stay made up for it. Buffet breakfast was excellent and we had an awesome time in the swimming pool too. :) The reservation... More

Another hotel owned by the Taj conglomerate in India. It’s a little dated, starting with actual keys to open the doors. The décor was very nice and the rooms were decent (nothing to write home about). We had had a long day of touring and were just looking for a cool place to lay down. The breakfast buffet was plenty... More

I last visited this hotel in 2000 and there has been no change since then. The lobby was as uninspiring as I remembered it and the so- called welcome drink was enough to put you off.The hospitality of Taj, however, made sure that the staff looked after us attentively and with a smile. The rooms were kept clean and comfortable. The buffet... More

It is like arriving at a large villa from the Fifties: white, clean lines, neat. It may not have a lot of local charm, but the hotel is located at an easy walking distance from the UNESCO-monuments (15 to 20 minutes walking) but in green, quiet surroundings. Our room was situated on the pool-side of the hotel and was large,... More

Overpriced and poorly maintained. Charge for wifi. Wines way overpriced. The cook needs to learn how to cook western foods. Overall it is tolerable but not desirable place. I can not compare to other local places to know if there is better so can only compare to western based hotels. This one has a 3 1/2 star entry but fails... More

Wonderful hotel, especially the rooms. These are very spacious, luxurious in design. Bathrooms are not very large and as always in Taj hotels the doors open into the bathroom making it very uncomfortable to manouvre "with this thing in te middle". But the shower walk in cabin is extremely nice and peasant. Two floors, no elevator. A a carte restaurant... More

We stayed here for two nights with a group of NU Alumni while visiting the beautiful temples and gardens in Khajuraho. The hotel is well kept, spotlessly clean, with good food and friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful and provide a relaxing environment. We ate meals in both the small dining room and the larger buffet dining room and were... More
