I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The customer service is miles ahead of any hotel I have stayed. Ever! The bell boy was intelligent enough to pick my luggage, check at the lobby with the tag on my bag and when I reached lobby, I was greeted with "How was your flight from Bangalore Mr Agarwal?". I spent a week at the Taj Blue Diamond in Pune and found it lacking in several respects. First, there is a major renovation of the hotel going on, meaning the entire front is torn out and being rebuilt. Construction runs 6 days per week from relatively early until around 7 pm. I had heard and read mixed reviews of this hotel but I was very pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the hotel in a country that does not seem always to value finesse or customer service. The hotel is under renovation and so there is no lobby (the reception is located on 1th floor corridor), business center is in a room on the 1th floor too and the Casabella bar is closed.
