Hotel Ambassador is a very good hotel in centre of Mumbai. The main attraction of this hotel is the revolving restaurant on top and its vicinity to the city, harbor line and churchgate train station. As indian hotels go the Ambassador isnt too bad. beds are clean, food is decent. however hotel is old and dated so in need of modernisation. also A/C is very cold! more

The rooms are run down, and the hallways smell. The a/c got 'stuck' and I nearly froze the first night. I had to ask for everything twice. They put me in a room without Internet, then had to change. Stayed here in early November, Found the location good, within walking distance to Gateway of India, museums etc. Short walk to Churchgate train station. Taxis v. cheap to sites anyway.
