I had stayed in the Deluxe Room for 3 days and must say the rooms are huge. It was pleasant to utilise the living room space to its maximum. The breakfast provided was made to our taste and service at the restaurant was top class. The swiming pool was not all that clean so didnt bother to take a dip. more

We stayed at the Gorbandh Palace in January 2006 on a 4 day trip to Jaisalmer and it was amazing. The Hotel is beautiful, the rooms cosy and the service impeccable. The breakfast at the Bagheecha was lavish. It is a great place to relax and share private moments with your loved one. We absolutely enjoyed it! I would love... more

The hotel is advertised as having A/C. I was there during the hottest time of the year, typically around 115 degrees F. Checked in at noon and the lobby and room was a boiling 100+ degrees. Turns out the hotel centrally shuts off the air conditioning during the day. Fine, being green is great. most of the guests are out... more

Based on the outskirts of the city, it is nice and quiet location. Food options are good, especially indian cuisine. But the service is too slow, staff is untrained and not so courteous as you would expect in a good hotel. If you like the personal touch or the professional management, the stay away from here. more

very impressive hotel, clean rooms and good service. Do not try any cuisine but Indian. The Indian food is not bad. I believe it is one of the best hotels in Jaisalmer but a peice of advise; do not expect much from their New Year Party, it was very ordinary adn not worth the amount the Rs 2000 per person(maybe... more

Very annoyed about this hotel. As I knew we had a long journey to get there, I had paid extra to get a suite. On arrival we were shown too two twin rooms with the adjoining door opened. We went back to reception and complain where we were told that it was a suite. Fortunately I had printed out pictures... more

Visited in April 08. Although it was meant to be our splash-out hotel, it turned out very disappointing. We were charged 65 euros, exc. breakfast, which was very high considering it's off peak. We were given a small room, with a very small balcony that looked out onto a concrete area. I was told there were no better rooms available.... more

Nice and quiet location with good food in a property staffed by a freindly lot. The good things stop right there. Service is too slow, staff is untrained, If you like the personal touch or the professional management of hospitality experience which matches the value of what you wish to pay then stay away from here as this is property... more

Location is fine, just outside the city limits. Nice swimming-pool but ordinary rooms. Staff particularily friendly. Overall, a good choice in Jaisalmer more
